Buggy Challenge....

Quast Consulting & Testing Limited Buggy Challenge Debuts @ Crandon's Sportsman Weekend

Glenview, Ill. (July 23, 2014) - The top 1600 Single Buggy and Light Buggy racers from North America will be competing in the Inaugural Quast Consulting & Testing Limited Buggy Challenge at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway on August 10, 2014. The event will be held at the conclusion of the Sportsman short-course race program that will run during the Forest County Potawatomi Super Challenge Off-Road Race Weekend at the "Big House."

The Quast Consulting & Testing Limited Buggy Challenge started as an idea nearly a year ago and thanks to the hard work of several competitors and Crandon International Off-Road Raceway the event is a reality. The race will feature a land rush start with the Light Buggy group receiving a pre-determined head start over the quicker pack of Single Buggy drivers. The race will be held on Crandon's short-track which will put every second of the race in front of the large throng of short-course off-road racing fans.

The drivers will be competing for a $1500 race purse along with contingency awards from BFGoodrich Tires, Stingle Transaxles, Just performance Engines, and PDank Performance.

"Crandon offered to make time for this event to happen if a sponsor could be found, and after talking with other racers, Matt Wendland found the support from Quast Consulting & Testing to make this event possible, " noted veteran Single Buggy driver Mark Steinhardt. "This race will be very interesting to watch and really fun to compete in. I know our two classes will put on an awesome show for the fans."
